Eid al-Adha conveys the message of the Sunnah of Abraham (peace be upon him) and the Sunnah of Muhammad (peace be upon him).
The act of sacrifice is an annual function to promote the spirit of jihad in the Muslim Ummah.
The purpose of sacrificing a beloved animal in the name of Allah Almighty is to show that we will not hesitate to sacrifice our lives for the Lord for whom we are offering our wealth.
Wealth that is an obstacle in the way of love of Allah Almighty is harmful for the Muslim teacher.
Through the act of sacrifice, a Muslim gives practical proof that his real relationship is not with wealth but with God Almighty. At whose request he sacrificed his beloved wealth.
If we pay attention, we see an act of sacrifice everywhere in the universe and the whole universe is addressing man, You must also offer sacrifices to the Lord.
In this universe, inanimate objects grow plants by sacrificing their energy and are sacrificed to man in the form of plants and some fruits and some in the form of fodder for animals by lifting them and giving them milk and slaughtering them in the form of meat. They offer their sacrifices for man.
Therefore, man should always be ready to sacrifice his abilities, his wealth, his life and his children for the sake of his Lord by summing up the sacrifices of the whole universe.
